We took our dog pico to the vet on a Wednesday. She felt his knee cap and said that was good but the bad news that meant it was a torn ligament and would need surgery. When we left pico seemed 10 times worse. After another week and 90% loss of the use of his hind legs we took him to another vet where he was diagnosed with a herniated disc. After just four days pico is now able to walk and has very little pain.
